Little Rock Fire Station 9
Following the devastating tornado that destroyed Little Rock Fire Station No. 9, JBP Architects partnered with the City to design a resilient, future-ready facility while maintaining uninterrupted emergency response through a temporary station. Working closely with firefighters and community stakeholders, the design improves operational efficiency, response times, firefighter wellness, and long-term adaptability. The new station incorporates reinforced construction, impact-resistant materials, and flexible technology to enhance resilience against future disasters. More than a replacement, Fire Station No. 9 is a long-term investment in public safety that strengthens emergency services and better serves both first responders and the surrounding community.
